Who we are
ThetaViz ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ThetaViz website and related services. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our options visualization tools.
Information we collect
- Account data: email address and authentication identifiers when you register or sign in.
- Saved strategies: strategy names, symbols, leg details, entry premiums, and related data you choose to save.
- Preferences: chart and display settings stored in your account.
- Billing data: subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
- Usage and technical data: server logs, IP address, browser type, and similar data needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the visualization and builder tools
- Authenticate users and manage saved strategies and subscriptions
- Process payments and communicate about billing
- Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and improve the product
- Respond to support requests
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run the service, including hosting, authentication and database (Supabase), and payment processing (Stripe). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
When you request market quotes or option chains, we fetch data from third-party market data services on our servers. Those services may log requests according to their own policies.
Pro real-time data
For Pro subscribers, option marks and related values may be computed on our servers using current underlying prices, delayed option quotes, and model-based repricing (including Black–Scholes). We do not receive live proprietary exchange feeds for options through this product. Always verify prices with your broker before trading.
Retention
We retain account and saved strategy data while your account is active. You may delete saved strategies at any time. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. billing records).
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also manage saved strategies and account settings directly in the product.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features.
We also use Google Analytics to understand aggregated site usage (pages visited, general traffic patterns). Google may set analytics cookies or use similar identifiers. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google processes this data.
Children
The service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
