Agreement

By accessing or using ThetaViz, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and any agreements with your broker or employer.

Educational use only

ThetaViz provides options visualization and educational tooling only. Nothing on the site is investment, tax, legal, or trading advice. We are not a broker, dealer, or investment advisor. You are solely responsible for your trading and financial decisions.

Market data and accuracy

Quotes, chains, and marks may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Pro real-time data is updated using current underlying prices and model-based option pricing (including Black–Scholes). It is not a live proprietary exchange feed or a substitute for your broker's quotes. Saved strategy profit and loss is mark-to-model only, not broker-reported fills. Always verify prices and terms with your broker before trading.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Fees are charged according to the plan you select. You may cancel through the customer portal or as described at checkout; access continues through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated. Refunds are handled at our discretion except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful purposes or to violate others' rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or underlying APIs
  • Resell or redistribute market data or content without authorization
  • Misrepresent ThetaViz as providing trading execution or personalized advice

Intellectual property

The service, including software, design, and content we provide, is owned by ThetaViz or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these terms. You retain ownership of content you create (e.g. saved strategy names); you grant us a license to store and display it as needed to operate the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THETAVIZ AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ThetaViz from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms or for operational reasons. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes

We may modify these terms or the service at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where ThetaViz operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where prohibited by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
